A NOVEL BY WILL SHONBRUN
How do you start over when you've hit bottom? Where do you pick up the pieces and jump back in? In this sequel to Falling Upstate, Bobby Stein seeks a way forward through the radically changing world of the 1970s. His journey takes him to communes, ashrams and into the arms of intriguing women, all the while rejecting the old ways and discovering new ones.
“The Road to Find Out, with its mischievous anti-hero, Bobby Stein, is set at a time in the 1970s when America had lost its sense of direction, Shonbrun's new book is part travelogue, part meditation on history and part philosophical rumination with generous dollops of sex and humor. Recommended for those who lived through the 1970s and want to go back, and those who want to experience it vicariously.”
—Jonah Raskin, author of Dark Land, Dark Mirror
